Dr. Bill McCaw Delivers Keynote at SAM Evening of Excellence, Honoring Montana鈥檚 Educational Leaders
On June 12, 2025, Dr. Bill McCaw was featured as the keynote speaker for the School Administrators of Montana (SAM) Evening of Excellence, an annual event held to recognize and honor school administrators across the state for their leadership and contributions to Montana’s education system.
Dr. McCaw brought more than 45 years of experience in public education to the event, including 20 years in P-12 schools as a teacher, coach, and central office administrator. For the past 25 years, he served as a professor of Educational Leadership at the 91短视频’s Phyllis J. Washington College of Education, where he held the William C. Shreeve Endowed Chair since 2020.
Throughout his academic career, Dr. McCaw chaired 38 doctoral dissertations and participated in 147 dissertation committees. His research explored leadership dynamics, school board behavior, and student achievement, most recently contributing to a statewide study on Montana’s four-day school week. He taught over 200 graduate-level courses and shared his work through 78 publications and 157 presentations, including international lecture tours and appearances at national conferences.
Dr. McCaw’s keynote reflected the depth of his scholarship and his enduring commitment to educational excellence, offering a meaningful tribute to the work of Montana’s school leaders.
