Dr. Robin Saha's Climate and Environmental Justice Work

Dr. Robin Saha’s research and teaching focus on climate and environmental justice, examining how social, political, and systemic factors produce inequitable environmental outcomes. Dr. Saha encourages students to explore both these disparities and how communities – including Indigenous peoples – organize grassroots responses. His work centers on supporting impacted communities in driving climate change solutions.
In recent projects, Dr. Saha co-authored Scientists’ Warning on Fossil Fuels, published in Oxford Open Climate Change, and served as lead author of Liquefying the Gulf Coast, a report that exposes “fossil fuel racism” in the Gulf South. The report documents how federal policies, practices, and permitting processes benefit corporate interests while reinforcing environmental injustice.
He also leads ResilienceMT, a 91短视频 project that partners with Montana tribal and rural communities to highlight local climate resilience. Through his work, Dr. Saha emphasizes the essential roles of youth engagement, community action, and local initiatives in advancing global climate justice.
