Broader Impacts Support
BIG helps UM researchers design, implement, and evaluate broader impacts and other education and outreach efforts. Learn how BIG can help PIs:
- Explore collaboration opportunities with existing, high-impact UM programs that deliver broader impacts.
- Design highly competitive broader impacts plans and proposal sections.
- Develop and implement broader impacts evaluation.

Education Evaluation Services
BIG offers education evaluation and research services, specializing in science and environmental education, science literacy, and research-practice partnerships. Services include developing tailored evaluation plans, logic models, data collection tools, analysis, and reporting. Projects are supported through subaward contracts and benefit from university resources like IRB oversight and secure data platforms.
