Large Lecture Halls - 106, 122, 123
Classrooms 106, 122 and 123 are the largest rooms in the Gallagher Business Building, with seating capacities of 202 in room 106 and 120 in rooms 122 and 123. All three classrooms feature modern ceiling-mounted data/video projectors and fast PCs with solid state drives. Those using the classrooms also have the option to connect laptops, tablets and other smart devices. These rooms have tiered seating and provide a comfortable environment for your participants. Classrooms 122 and 123 also have power outlets at seats for students.
All three also have cameras available for recording or live streaming, and dimmable lighting options.
We can provide wireless lavaliere and handheld mics, audience Q&A mics on stands and conference-style table mics for panel discussions. If you plan to have media coverage for your event, we can accommodate it with a press feed wireless audio receiver for a TV crew in any of these rooms.
Fixed and moveable whiteboards are available, and we still provide support for our legacy equipment, including overhead projectors and video tape players. All three rooms have plenty of space in the front landing areas for arranging chairs and tables, lecterns and podiums.
Large Classrooms - L09, L14, L26, 119, and 201
Classrooms L09, L14, L26, 119 and 201 are the large-sized rooms in the Gallagher Business Building. Rooms L09, L14 and L26 seat 58-64 students in a tiered arrangement. Rooms 119 and 201 are flat rooms with free-standing desks and chairs, that can be arranged in circles for seminar-style seating or other arrangements as needed. The seating capacity in these rooms is 52 and 57 respectively.
They are equipped with ceiling-mounted data/video projectors and sound systems for computer or portable device audio. All classrooms come equipped with built-in PCs, while classrooms L09, L14 and 201 provide laptop connectivity.
Power for students at seats is provided in classrooms L09, L14, L26, and 119.
Classroom 119 is equipped with dual cams, ceiling mics, ceiling speakers and six large TV displays, which make it an ideal classroom for recording lectures or teaching in a hybrid environment with students in the classroom, as well as online.
Medium Classrooms - L11, L13, 104, 225, 226
Classrooms L11, L13, 104, 225 and 226 are considered medium sized classrooms in the Gallagher Business Building, with seating capacities of 30-40 people.
Classrooms L11, L13, 225 and 226 are all flat rooms with free-standing tables. They are unique in that the instructor stations are large podiums that can be moved where desired in the front of the rooms. This furniture houses all of the audio/video equipment and makes it very easy to connect laptops. There are dedicated buttons on a clearly labeled control panel. Rooms L11 and L13 have Blu-ray disc players and HDMI connections for modern laptops and portable devices. Rooms 225 and 226 have large windows with excellent views of the campus but also feature adjustable shades.
Classroom 104 is equipped with a single cam, ceiling mics, ceiling speakers and three large TV displays, which make it an ideal classroom for recording lectures or teaching in a hybrid environment with students in the classroom, as well as online. A PC is provided in the classroom, but does not have laptop connectivity. Power is available at the student seating.
Small Classrooms - L04, 202, 205, 222
Classrooms L04, 202, 205 and 222 are the smallest classrooms in the Gallagher Business Building, with seating capacity ranges from 20-30. They have ceiling-mounted data/video projectors as well as audio systems for computers and portable device sound. They also have plenty of whiteboard writing surfaces. These classrooms are flat rooms with free-standing desks and seating capacity ranges from 20 to 45. They all come equipped with PCs and laptop connectivity, with the exception of classroom 205.
Classroom 205 is equipped with dual cams, ceiling mics, ceiling speakers and six large TV displays, which make it an ideal classroom for recording lectures or teaching in a hybrid environment with students in the classroom, as well as online. Power is available for students at their seats.
