Wellbeing provides presentations and programs on topics like stress and resiliency, healthy lifestyle, mental health and wellbeing, and substance use prevention and more that campus (students, faculty and staff) can request to support their students and employee's overall well-being.
Consultations
Wellbeing staff are available for consultation with faculty, staff and departments on a variety of topics on a limited basis.

Presentations
Presentations and training opportunities for students, faculty and staff are available through Wellbeing Services. Presentations range from 15 minutes to 1 hour and include:
- Mental Health & Wellbeing (Self-care, Breathing techniques, Wellbeing Support Coach Information, Wellbeing Services, General Support, etc.)

The Engaged Campus session empowers students and campus members to take action when they witness concerning behavior by teaching the 5 Ds of intervention: Direct, Distract, Delegate, Delay, and Document. - An adaptation explores the Medicine Wheel, an Indigenous model that represents the interconnectedness of mind, body, spirit, and emotions, offering a holistic approach to wellness.

Wellbeing will provide all the supplies you need, including aromatherapy, calming decor, coloring supplies, gratitude activities, journaling tools, and meditation resources. Create a space that helps you and your peers prioritize well-being right on campus!

This workshop teaches participants how to administer Naloxone, a life-saving medication used to reverse opioid overdoses. In this session, participants will learn how to recognize the signs of an overdose and how to properly use Naloxone to provide critical assistance in an emergency. By learning how to administer Naloxone, our campus community can make a significant difference in protecting the lives of others. Participants will receive a box of naloxone.

Take a visit to the Relaxation Station to unwind and recharge, while Wellbeing Support Coaches provide personalized guidance to enhance students' overall well-being. Students, staff, and faculty can also participate in Wellbeing Wednesdays, where they enjoy activities like dog therapy, chair massages, crafts, snacks, and opportunities where they can connect with their peers.

The Digital Smudge (Detox) session invites students to explore the impact of screens and digital media on their daily lives and relationships. Through readings from The Seven Circles framework, participants will examine how technology influences their emotional, mental, environmental, and social well-being. This activity encourages mindfulness around digital consumption and promotes healthier, more balanced interactions with the digital world. By growing awareness, students can better manage their screen time and foster deeper connections with themselves and others.

7 Circles – Indigenous Teachings for Living Well explores holistic practices rooted in Indigenous wisdom, guiding students toward a balanced, purposeful life. Through readings from the book, the audience will engage with the teachings of the seven circles, which represent different aspects of well-being—Community, Food, Sleep, Movement, Ceremony, Sacred Space, and Land. Activities will be developed to explore each circle, encouraging reflection of own well-being and integrating these teachings into their daily lives. This approach fosters a deeper connection to self, others, and the world around them, promoting overall wellness.

Safer Sex 101 provides college students with essential knowledge and strategies for engaging in sexual activities in a safe, respectful, and consensual manner. This session can cover topics like contraceptive methods, STI prevention, communication about boundaries, and consent, or one topic on its own. Empowering students with this information helps them make informed choices about their sexual health and well-being.
