Certificate in Nonprofit Administration
We offer coursework fully online or in-person. This is geared towards students who want to learn additional skills to become employed in the nonprofit sector but may not have enough time to complete a minor.
Nonprofit Minor
The mission of the nonprofit administration minor is to build leadership capacity and professional skills for students to lead, manage, and support nonprofit and philanthropic organizations. The Nonprofit Administration Minor is a 21-credit, stand-alone, multi-disciplinary program. Students from any major can minor in nonprofit administration. Nationally, 10% of workers are employed in the nonprofit sector; in Montana it is over 11% (MT Nonprofit Sector Report).
Students may enter the certificate program at any point during their undergraduate studies. How do I sign up? Contact, Director Shannon Vaughan (mpa@umontana.edu)
