In partnership with the Heman Foundation, spectrUM brings hands-on activities to schools, libraries, and museums in the Bitterroot Valley and Mineral County.
Come visit us at any of our Summer of Science 2025 events - all are free and open to the public! Each month we will have a themed activity at all listed locations.
June: Plant Party!
Make your own seed-scattering creation that you can take home to watch it grow! Learn about native Montana plants, and how to identify invasive species of weeds.
July: Marble Mazes
Create your very own marble maze out of common craft materials to take home and enjoy, or share with a friend!
August: Cardboard Creation
Build a creation of your dreams using recycled cardboard, reusable screw connectors, and 3D-printed brackets. Design a fort that you can enjoy with friends, build a life-size replica dinosaur, and more!
