At Study Jam Tutoring, we are committed to supporting your academic success through flexible and personalized academic support. We understand that life can be unpredictable, and we value the time and effort you invest in scheduling tutoring sessions.
To ensure we can serve students effectively and make the best use of our peer tutors’ time, we have the following policy for one-to-one appointments:
Appointment Cancellations
If you are unable to attend your scheduled one-to-one tutoring session, we ask that you cancel via Navigate at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment time. This allows us to open the spot for another student and respects the tutor’s time.
No-Show Policy
If you do not cancel and miss your appointment, it will be recorded as a no-show.
- After two no-shows in a semester, you will be unable to schedule one-to-one appointments for one month.
- During this time, we encourage you to take full advantage of our drop-in group sessions, which remain available to all students.
We recognize that scheduling time for academic support is a meaningful step toward your goals, and we appreciate the effort you’re putting into your studies. This policy is designed not to penalize, but to promote fairness and accessibility for all students seeking support.
